Watimberghost, them is some massive sheds, where you find 'em
I'm guessing "on the ground" is the best answer you are going to get.  Shed hunting locations are a tough one.  If you find a good spot it is normally good year after year.  Posting the location on an open forum for all to see is the best way to ruin a good spot.

A lot of miles have gone into finding good spots. And even those good spots get covered with more and more miles. So I'm going to have to go with rainier's answer... On the ground... most of the time

I thought it was tha years drop, but it's got some green on it, and a critter chewed on it, so I think it's from last year. It was in the deep dark timber, so it's still got good color
