Guided cougar hunt
« on: October 07, 2019, 08:01:14 PM »
I've always wanted to go on a cougar hunt and I am in a place where it is now a feasible plan. I was thinking I'd like to book for Jan or Feb 2021, so I think the planning should start now. I would appreciate any legitimate info from members here that have gone "recently," or at least has first hand knowledge of someone who has. The reason I say recently is I was hoping for good info on a great guide, and even a state. Idaho would be preferred, just for the fact that I know the cat hunting is good/great, but it's also just a day drive. But I'd love any info you guys have to offer

Dale, bearpaw, seems the logical choice

Look into Bto outfitters out of Utah. I’ve hunted with them and going again this year. Great outfit. Pm me if you have more questions.

Wacoyotehunter is a guide for an outfitter out of Idaho. He has a wealth of knowledge

Would be happy to help you get something planned if you were interested in hunting in North Idaho.

Talk to @hoythunter as a reference if you're interested, also here's a video of a hunt we did two winters ago that will give you an idea what to expect.

If BC is on your list... Peasley Outfitters is great.

Logan and Charlie Peasley.

Feel free to drop me a PM if you’d like to learn more about my Dec ‘18 hunt with Wacoyotehunter.  I posted up a story somewhere along the line after the hunt.  It was a bucket list hunt for me so making the right Outfitter choice was critical, to say the least.  It was an incredible experience, everything I’d dreamt of and more.
