Yes, but you need the special BH209 breech plug which uses 209 primers. You will also need the 209 primer firing pin conversion if you already have a NW legal version.

Let me restate my question with the CVA Accura 2 northwest legal breech plug installed can BH209 powder be used.

While I have not tried to shoot Blackhorn 209 in my CVA Accura V2 NW legal rifle, I have read that ignition is anything but reliable when trying to ignite BH209 with a musket cap or #11 cap.

I've tried it, and couldn't get reliable enough ignition.
With that said the powder was my buddies and I don't k ow for sure how he stored it. Maybe I'm a fluke (doubt it though)

I believe the simple answer is no. From what I understand BH-209 requires a much hotter ignition than what you can get from a #11 magnum percussion cap, or a musket cap. It was specifically designed to be ignited by 209 primers. I have heard of people dropping 5 to 10 grains of whatever powder you like to use t-7 then the BH. I am not sure if that is a safe technique and am not suggesting it.
Good luck

Buck86 is right, the simple answer is no. Unfortunately, with the Northwest Ignitions, there is just not enough heat to properly ignite Blackhorn 209.
