Sherman creek wildlife rustler s gulch unit 117

Hey how’s it going guys? Going hiking tomorrow and was looking at hitting this spot. Has anyone been? Is there hunting on this spot? Just going to go view and get out and about but was curious. Thanks in advance pictures would be awesome as well.

never mind I've been to Sherman creek in 101, did some fishing on horseshoe but didn't do any trails

I’ve been in there. Was pretty good turkey hunting when it was first purchased, but not very good after the first couple years. Have seen moose and whitetail in there. Access is strange. Curious to hear where your access point is. It’s not well marked from either access I have used. If you go in where I suspect you are going in, you deffinately feel like you are trespassing.

Just looked around online. Apparently they have added a trailhead since I was in there.

I ended up going thru the south end. Looooong trail that goes down to this swamp area and barn. Really nice. Didn’t see anything tho.
