Yes he did take the photo with his iphone.Since I did an update on my iPhone7 plus about 6 months ago,( no idea what that iOs was but now I am up to 11. something) anyways to post photos now I have to screen shot the photo on my phone and upload that screenshot image. My guess is the new update on the phone gave me a better picture quality and it is to big of a file using the original photo. The screen shot is a lower quality and that is why it allows me to post the photo of a screen shot.

Only way to do it is to take a screenshot of the photo on your phone and then post the screenshot. Still a pain, but its the only work-around I know of. I have always been able to post pics from my iphone without issue and without any workarounds. Having said that, @Rainier10 said he couldn't post a pic from his phone either yesterday. Maybe I should try it as I haven't recently.I havent been able to for over a year. I thought it was a known issue, so I never said anything else. Just tried it again on this thread to verify, and my post wouldnt go thru. It just takes me to this.

@Antlershed Curious to see what your camera settings are at in your phone. Settings ---> General ---> Camera ---> FormatsAre you set to "High Efficiency" or "Most Compatible"??
From the settings page I have to scroll down to camera, not hit general, if I scroll to camera then I get that screen.
