New stock for new build
« on: February 27, 2018, 11:03:42 AM »
I am having Benchmark build me a custom rifle and I just received the stock I am using... it is Stocky’s VG2 carbon fiber stock that is real similar to a Manners EH-1.
Has anyone used or seen them?

Never used or had a stock from them but that sure does look nice.  It kind of looks like marble.  Any idea what it weighs?

30 oz.   The color is Mtn sage, it is 1 of the many colors they come in, kinda rough texture to it... I am gonna have Northwest Hydroprint do a Kuiu Verde 2.0 dip after its all bedded.

@coop2424 has one of those on his 338. He mentioned the texture as well. Other than that the stock seems like a winner.

I have one like bull blaster said.  I really hated the texture so sanded down and put some marine Tex in handle points then daughter and I painted it up.  Other than that I really like the stock.

I picked up the cheaper version Stocky’s Accublock. Going to put my 700LR in it. Need to figure out someone to mill it out for the Seekins DBM bottom metal I have. Not interested in going to town on it with my Dremel.

Yep - And they won't start the clock until stock is in house.  This was last august so maybe they have caught up some ?
