Did you try the back door?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!

I am hoping some people sat out this year to keep building points with the fee increase... Or, they burned their points and give me a chance at a killer unit next year!  :chuckle:

How much was the increase?  I don't keep good records of the costs.

Non resident special license from $1,085 to $1,335. The standard elk license also increased from $605 to $707.

I just sent them an IOU...
I saw on another forum that 900 more NRs applies. This year compared to last, which isn’t much of a increase compared to 3,000+ more NR apps from ‘16 to ‘17.
To ask the odds of any awesome hunt in the west to get better from one year to another is too much to ask as it will never happen. You’ll gain one point towards it every 2 or 3 years and then you’ll draw with thousands of dollars invested in building points and you’ll be 92 and won’t remember what an elk is and then you’ll probably have your great grandson book you a guided hunt and then you’ll probably forget to go.
Now ask me how I really feel about point creep.

Sorry, good luck tomorrow to everyone!!  :hello:

Still cheaper than MT,UT, AZ,NV and now the same as New Mexico. I dont see what the problem is you dont have to apply for the special. Name another state where you have the Odds of killing a booner bull every 10 years. Although that number is increasing due to point creep for you guys.
