Is this down low on the winter range?

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Looks like decently high on the Slide Ridge side. Hopefully they’re out of there.

Well you must have had a good snowshoe trip up there or good snowmobile ride. Obviously that deer frequented the salt block last fall and remembered where it was. Not a lot of food up there since the fire burned all the moss off the trees they could eat on. Burning a lot of reserves to get back up there. Very cool pics thanks for sharing

Think those first two pics are from the fall, before the deer went down the hill.  Take a look at the dates.  10/22/17 (modern season) had about 12" of snow in the Entiat at 6,000'.  The third pic is new, but no signs of deer (which makes sense at 6,000').
