Anyone using Klymit gear?
« on: February 23, 2018, 10:31:10 PM »
I have read a little and there was a rep in Costco tonight pushing the sleeping bags and pads.....looks like decent gear at a smoking price.....the reviews look good. Wondering if anyone here has experience.....

I’ve got some and it does the job. The down sleeping bags are actually really nice for the price. I also have whatever their largest inflatable backpacking pad is. I love it. Leaked after about a year but Klymit replaced it with minimal drama.

I had had more money and backpacked more often I’d probably buy nicer stuff, but until the I’ll keep buying Klymit.

I use a Klymit insulated static V for a sleeping pad, for my girlfriend when she's in her hammock.   It insulates really well for hammock camping.

klymit static V insulated works staying warm and comfortable in the cold. packs down to a very small size, but takes some effort to get it to pack down correctly. overall better than the thermarest products i've used.
