Anyone get a phone call from Huntinfool today?
« on: March 06, 2018, 07:03:59 PM »
Huntinfool had their winter membership drawing today and there were 5 Washington guys drawn, so I am guessing at least one or two are members on here.  I got a call about winning the Rogue Ridge eBike and Ridge Sherpa trailer system.  The funny thing is, I dont remember even buying raffle tickets for it.  It would have been sweet to win one of the hunts, but I guess I have a nothing to complain about. Are any other members on here one of the other guys from Washington that won a gun or hunt?

That’s awesome.  I just dropped them last month after 10 years of membership.

Once Epic was up and running, I joined.  I kept HF for another year, but then dropped them.  As a mule deer guy, you can’t beat having Jason as a hunt advisor.

I watched them draw your name, looked you up on Facebook but your not on it.  I looked up 2 Washington winners but both weren’t on Facebook, lol.  You won a sweet prize, those E bikes are pretty cool! Congrats!

Gohunt has them beat hands-down.  I only need to know about the draw odds, dates, areas, etc and as of now, nobody can beat their draw odds calculator.  Just about everyone else simply reports inaccurate info from the state or does simple odds - number of applicants/number of tags.

With Gohunt and Onx Maps, I'm dialed in any state for any draw or OTC tag.

Years ago I called HF b/c I wanted to look into a landowner tag.... the guy I was talking to couldn't care less, that was it for me.
 But congrats on your luck!

Lol, even though I'm in my mid thirties  I don't do Facebook. This website is my only social activity on the internet. I'm too busy to follow everyone else's lives on Facebook. I was hoping that another member or two was lucky as well, but I guess not.

My experience with HF has been the opposite. I have drawn a few out of state tags and I have found them and the members that have previously drawn extremely helpful. It's too bad others have had bad experiences with them because I thought they were generally pretty good.

You and me both, but I am grateful I won something.  I bought a few tickets, but I think $200 were for the primo hunts and $100 towards the lesser value stuff.  I've killed a moose in ID, but a sheep tag would be my dream hunt.
