Pointers/Setters as waterfowl dogs?

Howdy,
Does anyone use any of the various breeds of pointers or setters for retrieving waterfowl? If so, which breed do you prefer and why? Thanks for the help!

PudelPointer.....absolutely fantastic pointer, and loves the water! Not made to sit in a blind all day in freezing temps, but early season or jump shooting...they love it!

I've seen German Wirehaired Pointers do a very good job on cold weather waterfowl and the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon gets good marks, as well. Both have the coat for it.

I've had three Pudelpointers and they love to retrieve out of water. One female would go until she killed herself so you had to watch her in the colder weather. The male I have now will retrieve all day long in cold weather and can handle it. He has more mass on his body and a better coat to handle the elements. I would put him against any of my labs that I have had as far as retrieving goes. They love to duck hunt.
