Lots of snow left out on sawtooth.
Don't forget your spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch.

Congrats on your bear and effort to make it happen.. I pretty much did that exact same hunt two two years ago except I had to walk the road three miles from the first big snow drift to get to the trailhead.. Beautiful country in the spring especially..

Would love to fill my tag, but at this point i just want to see a bear!
I'm open for suggestions if anyone has intel.

Thanks guys, but remember that is my buddy's bear. I wish it was mine but he spotted it. I'm heading back in on Friday. Yakirack I'll send you a pm and if you want we can chat.

Watched a pack of 5 wolves howling on sawtooth for quite awhile last weekend. Also saw em at 200 yards as they were sleeping.

2 had collars on. If they didn't have those could have passed for giant coyotes I guess  :chuckle:

Well tried it again this weekend. Didn't make my shots count but had a good time. Saw 2 blond bears, 1 small chocolate. Very few deer, very few elk. Lots of wolf tracks. Also, wolf tracks next to wolf tracks.
