Harbor Freight Badland 2500 lb. ATV Winch with Remote

Anybody have experience with the Harbor Freight Badland 2500 lb. ATV Winch with Remote ? I got one for christmas to mount on my Honda Rancher 350 but have not done it yet. I am kind of worried about what you do if the remote gets lost or broke. Is there a way to operate the winch without the wireless remote?

I have one of the 8k winches and they use the same pin setup as a warn as I remember. They are just a knock off of a name brand, and worse case you can direct wire them like a buddy has to a switch. 2c

I have used the 2500 to pull a few cars on to trailers with out issue.

I have one I use to pull cars onto a car hauler trailer, pretty handy to be in the car and remote control the winch putting them on.  I have not used it enough to give an honest review, but so far it works fine
