leaving Friday to head over, will ride into camp on Sunday or Monday.  Hoping for heavy snows to start a migration, can’t wait to see this country.

My once in a lifetime journey starts tomorrow morning, I've been waiting for this since I started applying 13 years ago.  Probably won't have phone reception after sunday but I will try to check in when I can.  This adventure would sure be a lot better if my dad was out of the hospital, can't believe he's still there.  I'm going to make a detour to go see him friday morning on my way out.  Thanks for all the well wishing and prayers, you guys are a really great bunch.

Getting nervous now, no more work, and I leave in the morning!  This is a pick of my first elk, I felt like DiCaprio on the bow of the titanic ! Now 26 years later I’m going on the hunt of my lifetime!  Hoping I can find one about 330” bigger!
