I should add that we saw three bull moose two cows, the two bowls out of the three were very nice, and we had four big horn sheep run past our camp on the last day we were there so much to see. That Wyoming back country only gets bigger the higher you go, it makes our back country look like a walk in the park but it’s a damn shame that the Wolf lovers and grizzly bear lovers in this country are ruining  are deer and elk population’s. Yellowstone park used to have 20,000 head of elk not less than 15 or so years ago, now there are 2000 elk left, 2000 out of 20,000! Those elk fed all the other regions it’s a damn shame what’s going on.

What an incredible trip. Great write up and great bull. I might have missed it but what caliber did you use?  Hopefully you got to stretch it’s legs a little.
