Buddy won't give up his locals.. he has been trying to get one with his longbow for the past 4 years in there and hasn't been able to close the gap... so he doesn't want to give up the goods lol! Sorry man, I tried. I even offered some good bourbon!

Haven't had a chance to get in there yet. Hopefully Sunday. Anyone know where the current snowline is at?Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
You have gotten lots of hints, however RASBO is right about getting in deep where it is dark and uncomfortable for you but not the bears. He and others on this site helped me a great deal hunting in there and I learned a great deal from him. Get away from everyone, explore and find the spots that are dark that may lead to clearings, good grass, or fresh peals and then use that awesome new call. I have had success there and other places using the techniques I learned from Him and others on this site. Besides getting close to your prey is a rush and a whole new experience if you have not had it yet with a bear. The bologna bikini with a bacon belt for my side arm I think was the key lesson learned for me.
No doubt, would have been nice to see what bear porn was on that camera. You remember coming out of there and hearing that tree get nocked down behind us? Good times.....
First day in there today. 3 bears. Couldnt make it happen though, good luck to everyoneSent from my iPhone using TapatalkCome on hunters, 3 bears in one outing, we need dead bear pictures!
