It was a great weekend to be in the hills. Any visuals yet?

Lots of fresh peels.  They have become fairly active.  Now to find the ones doing the peeling.  Got on a nice one on Saturday until he winded me.  Just didn't have a clear shot on him.
Cut em!

I walked up the 310 Rd this afternoon, up and over the washout.  Plenty of sign in the area but no fresh peals,   I noticed there was no combo lock on the gate this year.  Does anyone know why?

Last night was a fun night to be in there. Very quiet. I only saw a blue Jeep off the 300 rd.

No bear but lots of elk and a bobcat.

Saw one bear briefly this morning.  He didn’t stick around long enough to get.

Starting to see skat and more and more peels.  Just a lack of bears in viewable spots.

That's all I heard was 3 were taken out of the unit.  Not to good of a season if that's the case.
