All the ones I have done were head to head. I think they are the most fun because its a simple and relaxed competition but still challenging because the pins have to be cleared off the table and reloads are almost guarenteed.

It was head to head and like Tjkride said, the pins had to be completely knocked off the table. It was a lot of fun.
