I have a Phoneskope brand adapter to mount my GoPro to my spotter and it's worked really well for me. I've tried a couple universal style mounts and most of them worked pretty well, but they were all slower to get setup and take off. I was going to get an adapter for my phone as well, but I can just pull video straight from the GoPro to the phone so I just haven't gotten around to it.
