« on: March 11, 2009, 12:40:36 PM »
Hey everyone! Wondering if I could get a little info from someone on here! I have the opportunity to purchase a Dan Wesson .357 CTG, Poly Grips, Vented...4" barrel, stainless steal, adjustable sights, in original box with barrel tools.......Gun is in GREAT shape and doesn't even look like it has been shot! Just wondering about how much something like this is worth?!?!?!?! Any help would be GREAT!!! Thank you for your time!

Always seems to me that Dan Wessons carry their value better than virtually any other revolver on the market, at least from what I see at gun shows.  Look to pay what any other revolver would go for brand new.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Do you know were it was made? It may be worth more if its an original Monson made gun? does it have an extra barrel?

Also, used ones are kinda common. The stainless however is not so common from what I have seen.

Its a Monson Massuchusets made gun. I think CZ is manufacturing now.

Its definately worth at least twice what she is asking. If not 3 to 4 times...Guessing Id say 6 to 800.

Im gonna check my book tonight to see what I can find out. Always liked the DW's.

What they said - BUY IT NOW.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

CZ did buy dan wesson but they stopped making revolvers I believe.  I'd ask smdave, he is a DW man. I think he has 5 of them.
