They just extended the deadline to June 7th for applications. IDFG is such a joke

I had decided today not to apply.  Now I get to think on it a little longer.  :bash:

I almost broke my application streak in Idaho this year.   Used to be some pretty dang good draw odds; now, it is getting pretty tough to justify the license cost.

Unless something new catches my eye in the next season setting, I'll just buy a few super tag tickets each year and go outfitter allocated when I want to hunt.

Funny thing is I don't even care.  I've already got some cool hunts to go on this fall.
I hear you have two extra days to withdraw your application :)

Really man? Idaho fish and game is a joke because draws are a little late this year? I think maybe you are not looking at the big picture . How fast they conduct draws is the least of my worries. It’s a little irritating lbut I am more interested in game management and hunting opportunities

I think maybe I was looking at this wrong. that's an excellent idea we being everyone but me should boycott at least 5 years maybe 10! We need to make a stand they extended the deadline by at least 2 days that's just crap man! we need to be done with Idaho. Again we meaning all you guys I will suck it up and continue to hunt this crappy state and make sure I let you guys know how terrible it is  :chuckle:

Well, I forgot to put in yesterday, then I read this thread and realized I had two more days so I jumped in, bought all my stuff and put in.  Thanks for being goofed up this year IDFG... ;)

I was at a IDFG regional office on Friday (the 8th) and had to watch a guy try and apply for controlled hunts (closed the 7th)...it was hard to watch :(

The new system was preventing applicants from applying for certain hunts for some reason? I was put on a list for call back and they never got back to me until the 6th, so they must have had quite a few calls to return.

It must be (speculation) that there’s far more people that apply during the last 3 days than the first few weeks. I dunno :dunno: I get all excited for states to open the application period...almost like Christmas!!
