I think there is more to this story... I think he later said there was no bullet hole ANYWHERE on deer, thinks the bullet traveling past head sucked the eyeballs out of the head?http://americangg.net/hunter-claims-50-bmg-shockwave/
The guy is full of BS, he won't show you the other side of the does head. It's not going to vacuum it's eye's out and kill it instantly.

I also doubt that if the bullet did go into the deer's head, there would be much left of it.
I shot a whitetail doe between the eyes once with my 300 win mag. There was a lot more damage than the deer he shot (or didn't shoot?). The eyeballs both popped out and the brain was liquified into white goo that ran out. It was a mess.

You got a solid penetrating hit then, the guy in the video was off to one side and just tagged the skull knocking off a chunk on the side that he won't show you in the video.

Was definitely a solid hit. She was looking right at me and I hit her directly between the eyes.
I also have head shot a spike right between the eyes with a 243,when brain goo comes out there ears, and eye balls pop ,you know you got a good hit ,I do have a pic , but between the nasty, and internet police I will never post it here.

The .50 BMG is not a bad cartridge. But, my opinion is, don't use it. I personally want meat. Because of that, people tell me to head shoot animals. I won't. Others tell me to try long range for the fun of it. I won't shoot an animal over 200 yards. Keep the .50 cal on the shooting ranges and in US military arsenals.
makes sense, but it is just how I think. I think that getting close up is half the fun of the hunt. i did have a chance at a doe that was 400 yards away, but i refused the shot
Crazy, maybe try a Tank next?
looks like fun to me! would love to cull like this out 1Kyds+ with that thing.... some places have weight limits though... ie 16# rifle/attachments for hunting...

It's moving about as fast as an 06 and only about 4 times the weight. Next time you shoot squirrels or a grouse with an 06, try to graze within an inch and see if it still kills it.
