Man, was really hoping it would stay open until i get back from alaska in a couple weeks.  Stupid quota, what a joke.  Guess itll be all coyote hunting and fishing when i get back.

Bango, my local biologist said it's not a "quota" but a "harvest guideline". That way they can make their own assumptions on the number killed and close it as they see fit. Did you ask for the actual numbers? The PMU I hunt was one short of the "guide line" but the bio assumed that more had been killed and closed it. I have it in an e-mail. :bash:

noticed that !

2 nights ago had 1 on my porch and another walk in front of it.  didn't see them.  heard a noise and figured it's the cats bumping into shovels.   next morn went out for a cigar and after a couple puffs i was bent over checkin fresh lion tracks.  last i got on cam was i think dec 13 but haven't checked them since.
