Fun video to watch - some great panoramic alpine and deep timber views.  I'll bet a lot of hard work in the editing room went into that.  I assumed that you spent most of your hunting time in the timber after last season's success story.  I was surprised to see in your video that you spend a significant amount of time in the meadows.  Good stuff, regardless of how you manage to get it done!  Thanks for posting it for us to enjoy.

Thanks, it was quite a bit of work for sure, especially with my solo filmed bad camera work!

I spend a fair bit of time in both, all depends on what spot and what the weather is doing.  Some times is pays to be up, other times in the timber.  The only real consistent theme for me is that I’m never near the truck because I don’t slow down and hunt well until I get some of my hiking energy out.

I use a Panasonic  (similar to the v 180)  that's about 4 years old and needs to be replaced soon! Also mix in the go-pro a little bit when I actually carry it.  Often times don't take the go pro to keep weight down for multi day stuff.  I'm always packing camp in solo and I eat like a horse, so 7-10 ibs of food isn't uncommon in addition.  About 3-4 hours of editing/ narrating left to complete part II, hopefully find the time in the next two weeks.
