JDB, not even close on your take about me looking at this as strictly for my personal benefit. For your information, I've bow hunted these areas since 1984 and have only harvested 1 antler less elk in all those years so this is not really affecting me personally, but if you take away the vast majority of the herd and put them off limits for harvest, your "hunt" just turned into nothing more than a walk in the woods while carrying a bow. Not sure how you can look at those numbers and see 90% of the harvest being antlerless and if you take that away your success opportunity not dropping by that same 90%? And finally, when most things I see show this herd at or above capacity combined with NO reduction in other groups permits or opportunities , how is this having a detrimental effect on anyone but archers?
