Selected for elk not for deer, now I have planning to do, max quality elk points, have been waiting to use them in the south east, but had not want to hunt cows and spikes if I did not draw. So what would be your choices, west side, east is going to be Dayton. Or wenaha east or west.

Just tell me what units you're applying for in the blues with your max points and I will know not to choose that one.  Thanks! Haha

Consider muzzy dayton and nooksack.  Good chance of drawing.   Even with max points your odds aren’t great with rifle.

Do your research on se units as they sure aren't what they were ten years ago or even five years ago.. There are some central wa units that haven't had the wolf impact as much and have comparable bulls.. Maybe you already know this but so many people just assume a blues tag gets you a 350 plus bull and it just isn't true  :bdid:

:yeah: Spent 9 days in there hunting hard - in before daybreak 5.5 miles, out after dusk - and saw a number of big bulls - we took the largest and it was 330 and that took some luck.  Didn't see anyone with any larger.

Hearing this from you and other guys that live in the blues is seriously maddening, it just makes me sick to see that herd take a nose dive after all the great management in the past years there.  I wish I'd never let that damn wolf pup walk when I had him at 20 yards!! :bash: Wdfw and their love of wolves is completely ruining this states hunting, this is why years ago I supported SSS and why we all need to do our part! You'll never know if I see another wolf in our woods!
“In common with”..... not so much!!
