I guess that solves the problem of wanting to use a 30 round mag while shooting off bags. :dunno:

Can't find a gun manufacturer making a single shot .410 without a hammer for my kids but there is a market for a high capacity bolt action .223
Lead em if they're running.

What problem?  I used to do it in the Army all the time.

This reminds me of the SAW's magazine chamber.  Anyone else remember how weird that was?  I can't say I ever saw it in used overseas.

That’s the first thing I thought of too, reminds me of the SAW and the rarely used magazine well. Except I’m betting this isn’t nearly as much fun to shoot.

Were you guys actually able to get the SAW to function with a magazine?
Practical accuracy and a packable rifle.
Blued steel and walnut is always better.

Any of the pump 410 shot guns can be made into a single shot by putting a full length plug in the mag.  You can do the same with a semi auto also, just drop a shell in and hit the bolt release.   It makes a nice training shotgun that a youngster can grow into.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I can't imagine wanting to hunt with a gun that had a magazine sticking out the side. Seems like it would be incredibly awkward. For that matter it doesn't strike me as being of advantage on a bench gun.
What is the point?

“ensures for an improved ergonomics over the conventional rifle design in prone shooting“

I call BS.  I never had a problem shooting prone with a 30rd mag.  I would think that the weight distributed to one side would make it awkward as heck.

Army shooting isn't like shooting in a field over ran with sage rats, out of the back of a pickup bed or with the use of a bench.

The side mag for prone firing is a good feature. It's an interesting gun for sure. Thanks for posting.

Army shooting?
Shooting with iron sights or 4x Acogs from field positions. Kind of like how bench rest shooting isn't the same as shooting a rifle in a 3 gun competition.
