I started with an Eberlestock and found just too many things that didn't work well after using it for 4-5 years.  I ended up buying both a Kuiu and an Exo, was able to examine them and try them both side by side and sending the Kuiu back was the clear choice.  It costs about $40 to send a pack back, but nothing compares to seeing and trying them first hand.  When you look at what they cost and how many years you can get out of one, it seems like a pretty good investment to make sure you have the one you want.

I highly recommed buying used, you will get a great pack at a lower price. People are always trying to find a pack to fit their needs so save some money and get some good bang for your buck.

love my Kifaru Reckoning, from day pack mode to 5+ day capacity.
packing out meat, camp and heavy, its the best feeling 125lbs I've ever strapped/belted on.

I know people are down on the Kuiu packs, but I really like mine. Fits great, packed a bunch of stuff including elk on it. No complaints.. I love all the pockets and I really like that you have so many bag options to change it up if you want.. it’s a good price as well..

I have used Kuiu Icon Pro for the past two years with no issues. I own both the 3200 and 5200 bags and don't see myself buying a new pack for awhile.
