Thinking of adding a tarp to my pack.  I have a great tent with vestibules but looking to add a tarp for more options.  I have saw them from $5-$300 range.  Any advice would be great, thanks.

Just hot to ask your self, "Self, what do I the tarp for?"  I picked up this tarp and rigged it with permanent ridgeline and guylines.  Basically, my use is for the day pack and temporary shelter.  If I need it around the base camp for additional gear or ten vestibule, I can do that too.  Cost is minimal and IMHO practical.

I got the idea from this youtube vid.  I like to keep it simple.
