What brand of truck not to buy

In my front lot this morning
Atleast they build in job security  :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Well, they all need something, but considering the newest ones there are 5-10 years old, one that's 10-15 years old, 1 that can now drink legally and 1 that is approaching 30 years old, I'd say it's a testament to how long they last!

Never owned a Dodge that was worth the price I paid for it.  Ford, Chevy and surprisingly Nissan have treated me really well.  If I was given a 2018 Dodge for free...I'd immediately sell it and buy a used something else.  Anything else!

While I value you in almost every post prior to this, I believe I now have to use the “Block Feature.”

Have had three of them.  Each a giant POS.  Wife's Charger gets a recall notice about twice a week, none that fix any of the problems.  So I guess the cars aren't much better.  Carry 20 spare fuses, lots of wire, crimpers and connectors, couple gallons of transmission fluid and a Sat' Phone - would be my recommendation for Dodge owners.

Wife had a 2007 Dodge Magnum with 3.5 and AWD.  Couldn't have ever asked for more from it (except for it to be the 5.7)

I've got a 2000 1/2 ton with the 5.9 that I've only had to limp back to the highway for a water-pump in 160,000 miles of abuse--thanks again @BULLBLASTER  :chuckle:  Also, I've got a 2012 Ram that so far is doing fine but is certainly nothing fancy.

I've basically come to the conclusion that I will despise anything new I purchase vehicle-wise.  I think brand loyalty is usually misplaced in the automobile world.  They all put out winners sometimes and they all put out a turd.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I’ve went.....Dodge, Ford, Dodge, Dodge, Dodge, Ford.
First Dodge was great, wrecked it,
First Ford was a piece
Then an awesome Dodge,
Then less awesome,
Then too car like,
Back to Ford. Great truck.

After having a 2011 Silverado 1500 that went to hell after 85k mikes, I fully support this photo.  :chuckle:

All those GM products obviously have pulled an RV to the repair shop for fixin' and are just sitting inside having coffee with the shop owner... geesh Buckmark, you misinterpreted what you saw.  Everybody knows Chevy's rule and all the others drool  :chuckle:
