over 12000 people put in last year for 8500 tags

Where'd you see 12,000? How many people put in for elk?

@Fishboy82, yes you can always hunt down with weapons ie. bow during muzzleloader, bow during MF, muzzleloader during MF just not the other way around and you still have to follow applicable rules

Got selected for deer and elk. I hate to waste the points but I probably won’t buy the deer tag so I can concentrate on elk.
