Looking for a turkey hunting partner
« on: April 12, 2018, 08:13:35 AM »
I'm looking for someone to turkey hunt. I'm a fresh hunter and I haven't hunted for turkeys yet. I would be very glad if I could join somebody who would show me some tips. I'm from Bellevue.

Thank you Dan-o, I replied to your PM already. The main problem is a distance between us.

Hey man, I'm in Kent. I've done a little bit of waterfowl and would love to try Turkey with someone.

First time hunter go check out the WDFW site for mentor turkey hunting.  If your looking for hunting turkey near Bellevue or on the west side it isnt really going happen.  Very very little turkeys near us.  Some in the SW part of the state.  Fall turkey you to go to the far eastern part of the state or Klickitat.

If you are still set on going on a turkey hunt you might want to consider going to the east side. There is always colville, but if you want to have a shorter drive there is a decent population up in the okanogan forest near omak. That’s where I bagged one this spring and my parents have been spotting them up there recently so they are still active. Email/pm me if you would like to try and go out there and I can give you a more refined location. Won’t be able to go myself, too much training on the calendar :/. Besides that I have seen two on the skukumchuck last week plait there is a lot of private property back there.
A skunked hunt is better than a day at work
