I know several people who don't have theirs yet either.  One of which was one my party application.  I would wait another week or so.

You are right, their website says wait until the end of the month to get tags before calling. Whew!

Successful Deer Combo Draw for me, however, landowner who had set me up with access to hunt his land South of Missoula just called me and shared the unfortunate news that he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and has to sell his home and land and move closer to a treatment center. Very sad to hear. Very nice elderly man who wanted to help out an out of state guy! So, I am going to send in the paper work to Helena division for refund. I am pretty bummed that out of state refunds are only 80%...Kind of screwed up in my opinion, especially with the fact that they get to sell my tag to someone else.  Any chance you guys know about some sort of unwritten way that I can transfer my tag into your name, and I don't loose out on the 20%. I'd be willing to sell it you for cost without taxes/fees. If you have a place to go, I would rather have someone use it then it go to the State.

I thought I was drawing in Utah so I didn't apply in Montana, now I know I didn't draw Utah and we have a ranch leased with absolutely huge bulls in Montana. My guide was just out there and counted over 80 bulls with branching antlers, some already have 5 points on a side. I signed up for for the returns but don't know how many people are on the list ahead of me. There probably isn't a way, but if there was a way to tell them you have a guy who wants your tag I'd give you the 20% your losing if I could get your tag. I suspect it's not possible but it might be worth asking?

My group (5 guys) got drawn for deer. Headed over November 10-18 to Jordan area, or Broadus, or anything else that looks decent on OnX...

I drew one for the unit I’ll be in. Only 50 of them available. I’m curious on what the statistics were for draw odds. I couldn’t find them in last years information the unit wasn’t listed
