Our group of 4 got deer combo

Just talked to one of my partners.  He didn't draw the combo license.  Funny, I called the draw hotline to talk to someone about my issue and in their recording, it states that the left over combo licenses will go on sale May 7th.  How can there be any left overs if my partner didn't draw?  Man I hope that I get someone who knows what is going on.  Been on hold for 45 minutes now

Could be an elk combo.  That was the only leftover combo last year.

There are 3 different combos:
Deer combo
Deer elk combo
Elk combo

The way they use "combo" can be confusing. I have been told they say combo because it comes with other licences besides just your deer or elk or both

Combo has nothing to do with deer and elk.  There is no deer elk combo.  If you want deer and elk you put in for the big game combo.  Like you said the combo is meant to cover all the different licences you get when you draw.  Such as a fishing licences and upland game licences along with your hunting licences and tags.

We were not drawn for the Big Game Combo.  They must have had a LOT more people apply this year.  I guess we're hunting WA, or I suppose we could go to Idaho.  Good Luck to everyone!

My son and I drew the combo tag, this will be our first year hunting Montana so looking forward to the adventure!

Yep! My season is made just knowing I'm going back again. 5 outta last 6yrs. Will be my 15th trip back there. Can't wait till I call that state home some day.

Drew the Big Game Combo, but no on both Deer and Elk Permits

Our party was unsuccessful for the Deer/Elk Combo also... now we are scrambling. Thought the deer/elk was almost guaranteed. Thought wrong. Was really looking forward to heading back to Montana this year.

look into your held items on your account. Should tell you if the tags are held or not(whether you were drawn or not). Should give you an answer
