Trapper Education & Beavers
« on: April 15, 2018, 04:11:33 PM »
Seemed silly to make two posts.

Trapper Education class Saturday June 23rd, 2018 in West Richland. One day class, takes about 6 hours, $30 for anyone over 18. Text me to secure a spot at 509-308-5277. I only have about 20 spots left.

My freezers are over flowing with beaver. I will not keep them all summer. If your wanting to stock up on bait, text me soon!

I was contacted by Scott Shively, at the Naches Ranger Station a few months ago.  He coordinates a carnivore monitoring project on the district during the winter and said he's always in need of bait carcasses for their camera stations. He asked me if I wouldn't mind donating occasional carcasses, especially beaver.

Thanks for the info! I'll let the trappers have first go at them but I expect I will be calling.

The beaver have a ride to Spokane. A fellow trapper will take them as far as Mead, WA but I need to know ASAP.
