Emily Dickinson, the Deer Hunter?
« on: April 16, 2018, 01:41:08 PM »
A Wounded Deer- leaps highest-
I've heard the Hunter tell-
'Tis but the Ecstasy of death-
And then the Brake is still!

The Smitten Rock that gushes!
The trampled Steel that springs!
A Cheek is always redder
Just where the Hectic stings!     Emily Dickinson....1860

With all the summer road construction projects starting to pickup, lets hope the Engineers include our Wildlife's needs in their Blueprints.

There are about 6 metaphores there for every teenage boy you know...
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
