Was going to fish La Push all 3 days.  2 days offshore and one day inshore.  No halibut fishing for me this weekend.  We need to run the boat to make sure everything is fixed before venturing out to the ocean

Anyone out there today ? We are going out Saturday providing there is still a quota left, gonna put in at either P.A or sekiu , all depends on tide and weather , which looks a little wet but tide and wind look pretty good for fishing, good luck to all who go out, hope to see some big butts posted up  :chuckle:

Great tides today
Fishing sucked
8 dogfish all big also
Fished Dungeness and protection Island dead calm 20 boats around me never saw anybody get a fish except dogfish it was the talk of John Wayne this morning all the dogfish caught

I don’t think I’m going to bother with Saturday
free fishing weekend brings out too many boneheads
Good luck
My boats to small to run to hein
If your launching in PA on the hook
I would be there by 330

yeah we won't be getting there until 5:30, hopefully most of the knuckle heads are put in by then, we are doing a day trip , if tomorrow goes well we might head over tomorrow evening, this getting up at 2:30 in the morning and fishing all day and driving home is getting old!! I need my sleep  :chuckle: did you hear if anyone did any good from sequim to neah bay? I kid we grew up with nailed 156 pound butt on dungenrss bank on the first opener !! We have made it out once so far and we pounded eastern bank and dungeness bank and spent an hour at DALLAS but we had the same problem you did, nothing but big damn dog fish !!

dude you have all that top of the line rain /huntn gear, as long as the winds hold off until the evening I don't mind the rain, my buddies 28 ft North river has the Alaskan bulkhead and even has a nice diesal heater inside 😊, ooh thanks for the reminder I need to bring my rain gear  well if you decide to head out let me know !! We will be down by pillar point!!

Anyone having any luck today? My brother and I decided to stay home. We fished Thursday and had a awesome day. To many dogfish to count, but ended up with a 76 and 120lb fish. Season total so far for our boat is 25, 35, 38, 60, 69, 76, and 120 pound.
