March Optics anyone?
« on: May 02, 2018, 08:01:07 PM »
I have heard some great things about there scopes.  Especially there hunting scopes.  There website says they are from Bellingham.  Doesn’t anyone own one?  If so, how is it working out? A 2.5-24x52 with 120 moa elevation and 22 ounces sounds nice.

Don't own one but I know someone that does! I've been wanting one for quite a while. I believe made in japan. Kelblys was about the only one that sold em i thought. Glass and mechanics are great. Benchrest guys swear by them.

Haven't owned one yet but have heard its a good choice for lightweight and quality.  Would like to have their 5-50 tactical model.

22 oz for 24 power zoom is great.

I have the 5-25 sfp moa ret , it is a very nice scope . Tracks perfect , exceptional glass and like previously mentioned light weight ,but nothing about these scopes are chintzy. Think bullets.com and optics planet both sell them . They seem to be extremely popular in Europe and Australia. A friend of mine also has one and is very happy with it also . Only problem I ran into was the main body length was too short to mount on a long action and use two piece rings  . Had to add a rail and low rings . I know that warranty work goes back to the factory in Japan and with import export stuff it can add time to that process if it’s ever needed . I was lucky that my friend had one that I could check out before I bought , I would have had a hard time with the purchase if I wasn’t able to get some hands on time . I honestly think more people would be using them if they were in every retail sporting goods shop like other brands . I am by no means a expert on high quality optics but have owned other quality optics , and my match tops them all
