Morning Visit by a Wolf in the Teanaway
« on: May 04, 2018, 09:27:10 PM »
I've been getting pictures of a couple of wolves on my property since wintertime.  These wolves actually came under my deck and left scat last year.  This is the first daytime photo I've gotten and it is of the smaller wolf. A forester I know says it looks like a hybrid to him but that might have been sarcasm. I was honestly surprised that it was as brown as it was but that may be seasonal. We have owned this property for four years and I have NEVER gotten a coyote on cam and only one bobcat.  I get pictures of cougars and wolves frequently.

I’ve gotten a few on cams over the last 5 years that look just like that. Too bad you can’t take care of business. Where there’s one, there’s more

The tail and crest guard hairs along the back really have coyote traits. Cool pic
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Have you shown this to a Bio?

I vote Coyote, but I'm not a pro.

I'd pull the trigger on it with little hesitation.
