Bergara B14 Hunter 7mm Ammo Question
« on: May 09, 2018, 12:51:29 PM »
I just purchased a new Bergara Hunter in 7mm and currently I am not a re-loader. Was curious if anybody out there has any experience using factory loads with the Bergara and has any advice on what they found the Bergara liked best.  Thanks, Wahoo

Every gun is different. That same rifle may or may not like the same ammo. My advice for what that’s worth. Go buy as many different brands and weights as you can till you find one that works to your satisfaction.  Then buy as much of it as you can afford in the same lot # if you can

I almost picked up a B14 HMR in .300 Win Mag but self control prevailed. Figured I’d make some calls and find one at cost. I’ve never shot a Bergara, figured I would give one a try.

Thank you everybody for your advice. My current Ruger 7mm was lots of trial and error until I found the right round.

My relative who sells a lot of different brands introduced me to the Bergara brand. Apparently, a lot of his target shooting customers are switching to them and I really liked the feel of the firearm, especially the stock and the trigger. I hope it turns out to be as good as I am expecting it to.

That’s the way to roll every time! Let him take the hit, then roll around with his rifle and ammo like it’s prom night. 8)
