Manfrotto head for a Kowa 88mm
« on: May 31, 2018, 09:13:46 AM »
Is the Manfrotto 700RC2 head going to support the big kowa, or should i look for something else.  I know the outdoorsman pan head will support it, but there have to be better options for the money.  thoughts?

Don't know about that one, but do know the X-Pro 3 way head supports my big 80mm spotter no problem.

This is the head I have for my Swaro ATS 80, absolutely love it, smooooth!

Unfortunately, they don't make it or it's brother (below) any more, but you can still find them at a decent price if you look around.  The link below has the black/grey version available from B&H Photo.

 :yeah:
I have the swaro 65 and the kowa 88 and this will be my next upgrade. I have 3 different manfrotto heads and like none of them.  I have a Gitzo compact and really like it.
