That a boy! Takes some serious balls to give 'er for 19 days straight. You earned that buck!

Congrats on a fine deer!! It's a shame that those once sought after trophy units like the Pearrygin, Alta, Chiliwist, in The Okanogan have turn into a shadow of what they once were. I know of a Grandfather and his grandson that drew that late tag the same year 4 years ago. They both were seeing some trophy bucks all thru their season. Both getting bucks over 30" as my friend mounted them. Way to say with it and you earned that fine animal!!

Great write up, great buck. The quality of the herd goes up and down, but the quality in those late hunts is the timing and lack of other hunters. Congrats to you, your dad, and especially phool for his help and generosity. Good stuff!

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when. No habitat = no game.

That 3rd pic with your dad needs to go on the wall next to your mount
Definitely a "Huntnphool" picture! Great read and great pics. Thanks for taking the time to post.
Congrats.
