Vortex scope trouble? (Crossfire)
« on: May 19, 2018, 08:46:46 AM »
I got a brand new vortex crossfire 4-12x44 scope and had it bore sighted, first shots at the range and I'm about 12in high and 4in left. I actually didn't even hit my target I hit the one above it, anyways I make my adjustments and my next 3 shots were in the same spot as the first 3! They didnt move at all and I adjusted for like a foot! I'm thinking WTF is this thing broke!? I make my adjustments again and tapped it and my next shot was a direct bullseye! So that was good and it's dialed now but why did my adjustments not go the first time?? Hoping it was just a fluke..

research "box test" and see how your scope performs.
