The perfect hedge to your misery is a Montana elk and deer combo.  I have been able to sleep very well during the wait.  A six day cow season for archery elk wasn’t going to be enough.

To the 44 voters who picked today: How are we looking ? What time is it supposed to happen?  Do you want to change your vote ?  Someone has to have the inside scoop ?  Or are we all waiting on 3rd party tech geeks to finally get their buggy software working ?
Lots of people claim to have the inside scoop. This is the couple weeks a year they can feel special cause they have info other people don’t. 🙌🙌

WDFW procrastination = Job security.

Thats what I'm thinking.

It seriously wouldn't be that hard to implement an autonomous draw. The only guess I have is that they're trying to keep someone(or a few peoples) jobs relevant... I mean, its not like they have other things for those people to work on...  :o

I wonder if I can take a rain check if my bull sheds his antlers before I get notified that I can hunt

I hear the wait to see who is whining and crying about how long this process takes.

And once they figure it out those people get an automatic not selected than the post the results

If WDFW sub contracted this out to the private sector they would save us all a ton.
OR
If any company in the private sector performed this poorly they would be out of business.
BUT lets not ruin this thread with factual content.

I thought it was subcontracted to a private company?
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

Did JMT do it last year? Why was there a switch? Anything to do with our recently ousted director from Idaho??

care to make a wager? With the only beneficiary being an outdoor organization (of your choice) that benefits youth? Maybe even an equipment donation?   :chuckle:
