I'm totally for the veterans options ...but how does that have anything to do with the permit draws ?

Currently it’s an addition to the web site that is used to aid and assist WDFW fund disabled veteran based hunting and fishing opportunities at a discounted rate beyond what is currently in affect. All this additional revenue through public donation will be managed to support WACS that are current and future legislation. There are programs that are being looked at by the state legislature. In fact I have a meeting on July 16th at the capital building to discuss more veteran hunting programs. Wish I could say more but until we get the initiatives finalized I don’t want to spread false info
That is good to hear,Good luck at the Capital.

I'm in southern Utah right now on a road trip and the animals I have seen have made me totally forget about the wa draw. Lucky for me I have made some new Utah friends.

@PlateauNDN has permit watch tonight, I am sure he will let you know, right after he texts me. Right pal?

His new cowboy hat will keep him safe!

I'd like to thank all those that have supported and voted for me to represent you tonight as I stand guard and defend you and your results as they are released tonight. :salute:

Well evidently WDFW wanted to add salt in the wound. They wanted me to see in person that I didn’t draw  :chuckle:

It was informative to hear the process and get an understanding on why it takes them the amount of time it does. From the mandatory reporting to commissioner meetings to having to address any questions or concerns and then correcting any errors by us the applicants.
Did you get the feeling they work their butts off to get it right?  I certainly did after I witnessed.  And I know how you feel, one of the times I went was when my wife drew the rifle rut elk tag and I was the first looser for my elk tag!

Perhaps someday the rest of us can / will be informed.  This common wealth guy doesn’t understand.  The lack of transparency, today’s technology, etc. is just mind boggling to me that we’re now being notified at one of the latest dates in recent (past 6-7 years now) history.  Hope someday to undestand how this process is so difficult and time consuming.

How many other states take less than a month to release their results?
(I don’t know the answer to that. Just wondering)
