I heard there was an issue today with youngsters getting selected for OIL's even though they don't have their hunters safety certificate yet so they have to re-run the draw to screen out non-certified hunters first.  Probably one of the reasons they stopped allowing non-certificate youth to submit for OIL's starting this year.

probably not.

Anyone could draw and OIL without hunters-ed.

They were going to run the draw this week but then they found out Sunday was Father's Day.
They will observe the holiday this Friday.

I heard through the grapevine that there is an ice cream social scheduled at the Olympia office this Friday to boost morale for the the heavy workload next week. I think they have Domino's pizzas on order as well.

I got a buddy that does I.T. for WDFW, he said they keep trying to run the draw but the server keeps crashing. They think its because too many people are logged on hitting the refresh button!
