Idaho Mule Deer Hunt
« on: May 22, 2018, 02:42:20 PM »
Doing my first out of state hunt in Idaho with my dad this year. Haven't narrowed down the unit yet but planning on either hunting near Salmon or North fork. I'm just curious about what elevations I should be looking at for The general opener on October 10th. Should I be focusing on higher timbered slopes or  are there deer in lower elevations that time of year. I will be scouting this summer and just hoping to narrow down what elevations I should be looking at for Mule deer. Thanks!

As high as you can go. 7k or so
It is hard to follow one great vision in a world of darkness and of many changing shadows. Among these shadows men get lost.
