I recently installed that EABCO peeprib on my CVA Accura V2.  Also, changed my front sight to a globe with crosshair insert.   And using the Merit Adjustable aperture insert in the rear peep.   I'm liking the setup so far.  The peeprib is nice in that I can add a scope to better test my loads at 100 yard range for accuracy. 

I also painted my front crosshair with some Glow-On paint (designed for use on gun sights) to improve early and late light conditions, as it's darker in the globe setup.   Looks like a normal crosshair during the day, and will glow just enough to see it to put on target in low light conditions.

That sounds like a sweet setup! Did you use the Lyman Globe front sight or a different brand?

As far as height goes, how does this one compare to the Williams ace in the hole. Does this one have more elevation adjustment or about the same?

My setup is:
* EABCO PeepRib - I have plenty of height adjustment with the peep.  But haven't tried shooting beyond 120 yards yet.
* Merit adjustable peep insert (Hunter #4) - it really helps with my accuracy, and adjusting for light conditions.
* Marbles dovetail front mount, 0.1" height, and for 0.875" barrel radius for CVA Accura V2
* Lyman globe front sight 17AHB, 0.404" height
* Lee Shaver Insert 17A - the Lyman globe comes with some round and other sight sights, but I prefer the fine crosshairs
* I painted the crosshairs with Glow-on gunsight paint.   Looks normal during daylight hours but glows slightly for early and late lowlight conditions.   

Attached was my very first 3 shot group at 120 yards with this sight.  Previously I'd have never even bothered with shots beyond 70-80 yards with the factory open sights, as my groupings were barely satisfactory at shorter ranges with the factory sights.   I love the crosshairs as I don't cover any part of the target.  That first range session was just to check my boresight that I was on paper and I wasn't that meticulous with powder measurements, I've sinced dialed it in further...but I was rather happy with the first range session and first time use.

I've never used the Williams ace in the hole sight, so can't compare unfortunately.

The rail is for mounting a scope.   For checking accuracy of your loads with more precision.  And some states allow a scope on a muzzleloader.  Which is nice for those of us that apply in other states.

For me, choosing the PeepRib over the standard Williams sight was really about dreaming of drawing a New Mexico muzzy elk tag some year.  And I wouldn't have to mess around with a separate scope mount if I drew. 

The actual peep on the PeepRib is made by Williams.

The peep easily slides off the rail mount with one screw, and I just drew a line on the mount to quickly put it back in alignment and on target.  Works pretty slick.

Unfortunately, there isn't a PeepRib for the Knight's yet. It would probably be difficult to have a rail on a Knight action, just for placing and removing your primer, FPJ, or cap.

I was not able to use a Williams peep on my CVA Accura V2 and keep my existing front sight.  The sight would not provide enough adjustment.  I am going with the EABCO peep so I can utilize the factory front sight.

I put one of the EABCO peeps on my optima and they work great!!! Helps a lot when you have failing eyes... Thanks Muzzleloader.com

Just received my EABCO sight in the mail today for my CVA Accura V2.  Already installed and ready for a session at the range next week.  What an improvement  over the stock rear sight!!

do you use just the peep and front sight or the existing rear sight to?
