I’m glad you picked it up. I was on it at 645 am and was on my to work hopefully it was mostly salvageable. The skull was pretty mashed up when I grabbed the antlers

Salvage opportunity  1 bull in ditch just hit this morning  aroun 430 other 1 is no good in sumner

Congrats on the salvage!

So one big question, how did you get a full bull up into your truck?  Honestly curious as it is a big reason I never considered trying salvage.  Cutting one into smaller pieces on side of road is not only a major hassle, but also not the image I want to present to the non hunting comunity..

You’d be surprised how easy it is to load a whole elk in a truck w a few guys.

5 guys and the elk went right in .  :chuckle:

It wasn’t too badly beat up, all 4 quarters and one backstrap were salvaged. Had to leave the tenderloins and heart   :'( . Guts were all busted over it’s insides. And the backstrap it looks like it slid on was too tore up to do anything with.
