What a tragedy, both for humans and sea creatures.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

You really will get a 'food coma' eating too much of that.

Even the sea life knows Seattle invites all the drug users to live here.  :yike:

I won't ever go crabbing around Shilshole or Elliott Bay again.  :bdid:

Sad and disgusting. Sounds like a tax scheme is in order to upgrade the WWTP’s with the technology to start catching drugs. That’s unreal. :(

Edit: that technology may not even exist. :dunno:

Lame and gross! Didn't they find presciption drugs in trace amounts in salmon smolts a year or two ago? I thought I recall reading an article about that. Something about them nit being disposed of properly and ending up in the waste water.
Fish hard, hunt harder!

I believe it.

Test them at or near the outflow pipes they'd pop in a lab, not like a cop on the side of road with test kit, but in a lab testing very tiny amounts.

We need some safe injection sites and a declaration of Sanctuary Bay status to protect them.

If this were true: with all the toilets from Olympia to Tacoma and beyond Seattle figuring at least one dump a day per person shouldn't the Mussels test positive for poo.
There are only so many sunrises left.
